TGIF! Celebrate By Dancing with James Brown

jamesbrowndancing

TGIF! Take a quick break from browsing cat videos and/or internet shopping to take in these dance lessons from the legendary James Brown. The lessons include the Boogaloo, Funky Chicken, Old James Brown, Mashed Potato, the Camel Walk, and more. If anyone gives you the stink-eye while you're doing these "stretches," tell them to mind their own business, because you definitely look amazing.

Okay, so this two year–old baby can dance the jive better than I can dance anything, but that's just how the world works, I guess. Anyway, it's Friday and you should celebrate by watching this video and having a solo (or not!) dance party.

The video shows the sweet moves of William Stokkebroe, who has watched his parents, Kristina and Peter, practice the dance so often that he learned it himself. William dominates the dance floor to "Jailhouse Rock" by Elvis Presley.
