Lake Hallstatt in Austria, often known as the "melancholic lake" is famous for its still beauty which carries through every season. In this video tribute, complete with a dedicated soundtrack by French composer Vincent Jacq, Geoff Tomkinson takes us on a tour of the popular tourist destination. In fact, the lake is so popular with Chinese tourists that there is a replica lake in Guandong, China. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage site and was formed during the Ice Age. Video below.
Filmed in 2011 during a snowstorm, Winter in Yosemite is a vibrant timelapse that showcases the majesty of Yosemite National Park. The filmmaker, Henry Jun Wah Lee, is an internationally renowned photographer and a practicing physician of traditional Chinese medicine, whose work has been featured in The Atlantic.
Photographer Katka Pruskova took more than 730 hours worth of footage and 7,100 photographs to capture an assortment of flowers in bloom. Her floral subjects, captured on Canon 5D Mark II, include Lilies, Amaryllis, Zygocactus, Rose, Gladiolus, and Gardenia. Katka formed a homemade "studio" to create the timelapse, using simple black cloth and careful lighting and insulation to create the optimal indoor miniature greenhouse.

Living and working in the richest European country regarding birds, I tried to film some of the Spanish specialities, mainly for non-Spanish birders. With so many different habitats and species, I had to move, driving to special locations sometimes separated more than 1000 km.
