In a slightly terrifying development in robotics, Disney, once the whimsical illustrator of your childhood dreams, has now built a humanoid robot that anticipates your movements and reciprocates them, so that it can play catch with you. If we've learned anything from 2001: A Space Odyssey or the watery eyes of Haley Joel Osment in A.I., it should be that machines becoming self–aware means the destruction of mankind. But it's cool. I'll just go live in the mountains or whatever.
