In collaboration with metalwork firm Kobayashi Kogyo, Japanese design studio Nendo has created 'Sekki,' this three-piece cutlery set that is the most lovely example of 'flatware' ever to grace the modern kitchen. The irregular contours of the highly polished silver service are a nod to the tools of the prehistoric man, crudely made from flint. Concave regions were sandblasted to appear matte, and the rest highly polished to the point of looking like a mirrored surface, for complementary aesthetics.
