Igloo14

"Meet the Parents" should have been set in Edmonton and starred Canadian resident Brigid Burton, a woman worthy of the "most creatively protective" parent of the year award. Her daughter Kathleen Starrie had invited a New Zealand man over for the holidays, and while the star crossed lovers awaited the visit, Kathleen's mother had another plan in mind. When Daniel Gray arrived in Edmonton he was welcomed with greetings, affection and the world's strangest mission: to build a rainbow igloo. For months, Burton had saved blocks of colored ice in used cartons in preparation for this task, in an attempt to keep Gray's hands away from her daughter. The igloo was completed after 150 hours and 500 colored blocks, resulting in a beautiful icy hut which proved Gray worthy of Brigid's respect.
