The Dumbo Clock Tower, represented by Two Trees Management Company, is one of the most astounding penthouse apartments in New York City. The building had been a factory since 1914 and was remodelled into condominiums before going on the market in 2009. The asking price was a mere $25 million dollars.
The luxury apartments feature breaktaking views of the Manhattan skyline, river and bridges.
The agency struggled to find the right occupant for the penthouse, and dropped the asking price to $19 million. They even put it on the rental market for $50,000 a month.
The Clock Tower became home to magazine Esquire this summer, who coined it "the ultimate bachelor pad."
It is property projects such as this that continue to bring new life and wealth into Brooklyn. The riverside area of Dumbo is now one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the city.
