It should come as no surprise that affordable housing in China is rather difficult to come by. With over a billion inhabitants, the country is hardly a haven for home ownership, or even personal space. In response to these stressful conditions, the People's Architecture Office (PAO) and the People's Industrial Design Office (PIDO) have designed a mobile, micro-home for those who can't afford a permanent residence. The Tricycle Home comes with an optional sidecar garden if you just can't live without your fresh vegetables. As far as I'm concerned, it technically means you can live wherever you want, unless your destination includes a tall flight of stairs.
