Carl Warner, a photographer who started out as an illustrator in art school, found his true calling by playing with food. The British artist has since created many landscapes, or "foodscapes," using all manner of ingredients. Warner now does commercial work for big brand-names all over the world.
Warner's rise to fame got him mentions in a variety of newspapers, magazines and blogs, eventually leading to a book deal. His book, Carl Warner's Food Landscapes, was published in 2010.
Carl Warner decided to use his powers for good, and is currently developing an animated children's television show to promote healthy eating.
Warner creates his photos in his London studio where his worktop resembles more kitchen table than canvas. He lights and shoots all his foodscapes after spending hours constructing the scene with his hands.
I'm waiting for the day Warner decides to build grocery stores that look like this!
